The Micro-Air Abrasion system is one of the reasons our patients
can now have fillings done without anesthetic and in a very short
time. This technology allows us to "sandblast" the decay
out of your tooth and then fill the area with a liquid tooth colored
filling. There is no pain and the fillings are very small.
For the times when anesthetic is necessary, the Wand is available.
It is a computerized system for giving shots that are pain-free
and can achieve maximum numbness, so no pain is felt during dental
procedures.
Computerized Dental X-Rays are a tremendous advance in dental
technology. This is a system that allows us to take necessary x-rays
with a sensor using 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays.
The x-rays are then digitally transferred to an office database
where they are stored and available for later use. Both the patient
and the doctor can view the x-rays, allowing for an accurate diagnosis.
